The ideation behind the fest is to provide EMRS tribal students the opportunity to travel from their villages to newer cities and get a unique experience of the exchange of culture and tradition among each other at the mega event via various forms of art & cultural performances.

The conclave is a celebration of the rich tribal heritage and a meeting place for all tribal students of different ethnicity to learn about each other’s lifestyle also. The Ministry Of Tribal Affairs has been organizing EMRS Cultural Fest each year to provide tribal students a national platform to showcase their hidden talents in different spheres.

This is the 4th and a very special edition being organized at the education hub of India i.e in Dehradun. The event shall give impetus to all-round development of tribal students pursuing education in EMRS confirming with the spirit of Government of India’s initiative of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) promoting sustained cultural connect and celebrating unity in diversity through national integration.
